Fire Science Technology

Fire Science Technology prepares students for careers as emergency first responders. The Associate in Applied Science offers three tracks: Firefighter Technician, Emergency Medical Services, and Leadership and Training. Students learn fire safety, investigation and inspection, fire command, hazardous materials counteraction, and fire hydraulics. The program emphasizes safety and trains students to respond to a variety of situations, providing vocational and technical credentials for employment or promotion in fire and emergency services.
