This course provides Florida Educator Accomplished Practices-aligned knowledge and skills for teachers and prospective teachers to examine issues and effects of culture and language on participation and learning by English language learners in elementary classrooms including the development of language and literacy skills in English. This course addresses ESOL Competencies 1 and 2.
