This course involves the study of quality assurance, quality improvement and quality control. It describes the role of the imaging technologist in developing and implementing quality assurance programs to ensure accurate diagnosis and safe patient care. It includes specific quality control procedures used to evaluate equipment operation and monitor procedure protocols. Minimum grade of C required if used to satisfy Radiologic and Imaging Sciences B.S. degree requirement.
