PHI 2600 — ETHICS AND CRITICAL THINKING

3 credits · 3 hours

Study of major theoretical principles on which claims to good life and moral action have been based, such as consequentialism, deontology, and virtue ethics. Each theory will be illustrated by representative selections from works of great philosophers from the classical period to the present. This course will include selections from the Western canon.
