Degree, minimum grades of C in NUR 1020C , NUR 1061C , NUR 2522C , NUR 1141C , NUR 2221C , NUR 1470C , NUR 2223C This course includes the concepts within the domain of professional nursing and health care. This course focuses on the concepts of professional identity, clinical judgment, leadership, safety, health care quality, health care policy, and health care law. Emphasis is placed on leadership roles, management of care, coordination of care services, and collaboration with the health care team members to ensure safe and effective care for client/family. This course will relate nursing accountability to legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks. A grade of satisfactory in the clinical/lab is required. This course must be completed with a grade of C or better. (Special Fee: $68.00).
