NUR 2223C — HEALTH AND ILLNESS CONCEPTS OF ADULT HEALTH II

Degree, and minimum grades of C in NUR 1020C , NUR 1061C , NUR 1141C , NUR 2522C , NUR 2221C Corequisites: NUR 1470C This course focuses on the concepts within the domain of health and illness, emphasizing the themes of homeostasis and regulation and protection and movement. The course will include a more complex discussion of the concepts of gas exchange, acid-base, elimination, perfusion, infection, tissue integrity, cellular regulation, digestion, and mobility. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. A grade of satisfactory in the clinical/lab is required. This course must be completed with a grade of C or better. (Special Fee: $68.00).
