The course includes a more complex presentation of the concepts of gas exchange, acid-base, elimination, perfusion, infection, tissue integrity, digestion, and intracranial regulation along with safety woven throughout as an interrelated concept. A grade of satisfactory in the clinical/lab is required. Learning experiences include interaction with clients in acute settings, psychiatric settings and community settings. This course must be completed with a grade of C or better. (Special Fee: $151.00).
