This course provides Florida Educator Accomplished Practices-aligned knowledge and skills for prospective teachers and teachers in Elementary Education K-6 English language arts. It focuses on integrating the skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in elementary school, including direct writing instruction. This course addresses Elementary Education K-6 pedagogical content knowledge for teaching the strands in the Florida Standards for English Language Arts and the Elementary Education K-6 Florida Teacher Certification Examination competencies in English Language Arts.
