Integrated examination of dominant ideas covering the period from the Trojan War through the Roman era. Affords students the ability to think critically through the mastering of subjects concerned with human culture, especially literature, history, art, music, and philosophy, and will include selections from the Western canon. Students must demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments. Minimum grade of C required if used to satisfy Gordon Rule requirement.
