HSC 4652 — ETHICS AND HEALTH CARE IN A PLURALISTIC SOCIETY

The course is designed to provide students with an ethical framework for decision-making in the context of a pluralistic society. Models and principles of ethical justification among diversity of cultures and belief systems will be analyzed. Specific applications are made to concerns in clinical and health care management. Topics include the right to health care, community health ethics, end-of-life issues, and organizational ethics. Minimum grade of C required if used to satisfy Radiologic and Imaging Sciences B.S. degree requirement.
