Students will become familiar with radiometric and photometric theory, basic optics, and opto-electronic devices and methods. Devices covered are opto-electronic sources, detectors, lasers, and laser diodes, optocouplers, and fiber optics devices. This course includes several laboratory experiences. (Special Fee: $84.00).
