This course is an introduction to cleanroom operation in the semiconductor industry. A study of cleanroom facility, contamination, testing, and operation. Students will be introduced to various types of cleanroom standards and protocols, cleanliness and filtration requirements, environment testing and particle monitoring, and contamination issues.
