Topics include theories of right and wrong actions, challenges to ethics, meta-ethics, ethics in society, justice, rights, personhood and the meaning of life. This course is designed to students develop their abilities to read, analyze and evaluate philosophical literature, think critically and analytically about ethical issues, and express their own ethical positions.
