Add to My SC4 Catalog An introductory course to review basic mathematics as it relates to the health care profession and to prepare health care professionals to calculate medication dosages. Topics include a review of basic mathematics, introduction to the metric system, calculations using dimensional analysis including oral and parenteral medication, IV calculations and pediatric safe dose calculations. Prerequisite(s): MTH 1000 or appropriate placement by college assessment 1 credit = 1 lecture
