CJ223 — Correctional Institutions/Facilities

Add to My SC4 Catalog This course is designed to prepare students for employment in the corrections system. It will explore the function of prisons, various rehabilitation programs, custodial care and prisoner rights. The organization and management of correctional institutions and their safety and security also will be described. Concerns about future developments and problems in the corrections system will be addressed. Offered winter semester only. Prerequisite(s): None 3 credits = 3 lecture
