Add to My SC4 Catalog This course is designed to introduce students to the historical and philosophical background of the field of corrections and to familiarize them with the legal processes involved: probation, imprisonment and parole. The role of officers and the rights of prisoners will be discussed and community-based corrections described. Prerequisite(s): None 3 credits = 3 lecture
