A joint program between Muskegon Community College and Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology. Students earn an MSU certificate while working toward an AAS degree, with at least 25 MCC credits recognized by MSU toward the certificate, lowering overall program cost. Michigan is projected to have over 10,000 job openings in the urban forest industry over the next ten years. Topics include tree care, utility vegetation management, urban forestry consulting, and tree inventories.
