This course prepares students to conduct evidenced bsed, client-centered health assessments. Using a systematic and culturally responsive approach, the student will demonstrate safe assessment techniques and electronic health record documentation according to evidence-based practice. Classroom, laboratory and simulation experiences foster the development of clincial reasoning, a spirit of inquiry, and teamwork in preparation for the clinical experience.
