As a practical nurse, you will provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing care to a diverse clientele with varying degrees and types of illnesses and/or disabilities across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with the client and the multi-disciplinary team by holistically supporting the client's physical, psychological, social, cognitive, cultural, and spiritual needs, and promote the optimal health and well-being of the client, family, and community.
Prerequisites: Grade 12 or equivalent with credits at or above the general level, Grade 12 academic English, minimum of 70%, Grade 11 and 12 academic biology, minimum of 70%, Grade 12 academic math, minimum of 65%, Grade 12 academic chemistry, minimum of 70%, Current Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS) Certificate, Standard First Aid and CPR Level C from a recognized First Aid/CPR provider (must be taken in person, NOT online), Completion of Immunization Verification Form (required after acceptance), Résumé including work and volunteer experience with applicable dates, memberships, awards, and other relevant information
