PALS Provider includes approximately 6 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of hands on skills training and testing for PALS certification. Innovative skill stations let you practice the abilities appropriate for your level of certification. The course includes the following topic areas: Team approach to Pediatric Advanced Life Support Pediatric patient assessment and management Basic and advanced airway management Basic Life Support C Review Fluid resuscitation of the critically ill pediatric patient Pharmacology as it relates to PALS Care With its comprehensive approach to core knowledge and skills, PALS Provider is appropriate for most levels of EMS personnel-from PCPs and ACPS, Nurses and Physicians Upon successful completion, participants will receive PALS Provider wallet card.
