The objective of this twelve-hour module is to lead participants through the planning and development stages of a simplistic website. Learners will be introduced to HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and taught how to use HTML in website design. Participants will also discover how to choose and register a website domain, as well as site design requirements. Other topics covered in this module include making informed decisions in hosting a site, posting valuable content, maintaining a professional website with consideration of file transfer and good product photos, timely customer service and going on-line in a cost-effective way.
