Students develop a working database application in Visual Basic in conjunction with an Oracle database, are introduced to advanced data access features with Visual Basic and ADO. They learn to use data tools included with Visual Basic, such as the "Data Environment Designer" and the "Data Report Designer" to create a distinct "data layer" in an application.
