Life skills are the problem solving and life management skills required to function successfully in five areas: self, family, community, job leisure. Through structured lessons in a supportive group setting, a coach facilitates learning by combining practical theory with a variety of experimental teaching techniques. Participants learn to be more assertive, communicate more effectively, manage stress, deal with change, resolve conflict and balance demands on their time and energy. PREREQUISITE: Grade 12.
