This course introduces the student to basic types of surgical procedures with a primary focus on the sequential steps involved in these procedures. Surgical anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology will be addressed relative to basic surgical intervention. Students will become familiar with instrumentation, anticipatory skills, and surgical asepsis and surgical conscience. Concurrent: SURG 1000 , SURG 1010 , SURG 1080 , SURG 1210 , SURG 1220
