NURS2140 — Adult Acute Care Nursing Skills

This laboratory course builds upon knowledge and skills presented in NURS 2040 and NURS 2120 . It is designed to develop the cognitive, affective, psychomotor, communication, and assessment skills necessary to provide safe, effective, evidence-based, patient-centered care to the adult population in the acute care setting. To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of a “C” or better in all program-specific general education courses & required program courses. Concurrent: NURS 2120 , NURS 2160

Prerequisites: BIOL2140, HLTH2060, NURS1040, NURS2020, NURS2030, NURS2040, NURS2080, NURS2120, NURS2160
