NURS1330 — Practical Nursing of the Adult

This course is designed as a theory course in the second semester of the practical nursing program. Students will be focused on the adult patient in the medical-surgical care environment. Theory topics include the acute care environment, surgery, in-patient/acute care, and the differing disease processes commonly seen in the adult population. To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of C or better in Practical Nursing program courses.
