HIST102H — Western Civilization 1600 to Present - Honors

A continuation of HIST 1010 emphasizing political, economic, and cultural changes of the 18th century, and the various forms of nationalism, international socialism, and their influences on the 19th and 20th century and the search for international peace with the increasing complexity of the emerging nations of the Third World. This course will include a study of political history, philosophy, and literature. HIST 1010 is not required. Meets the Humanities and Social & Behavioral Science requirements. This is an Honors course which requires additional work and academic rigor. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Honors Program
