ENGL1500 — Introduction to Literature

This course is an introductory survey of literature for non-majors. Readings will cover short stories, poetry, drama, and the novel. Students will receive a greater enjoyment of literature by learning how to discover the deeper meaning of the text through critical reading and literary analysis. Instruction will include critical reading strategies. Meets humanities requirement.
