This is the second in a sequence of 5 courses to prepare the student as a Basic EMT. Emphasis is placed on practical skills used in the delivery of basic emergency care which includes: treating and assessing medical conditions, taking vital signs, use of medical equipment, patient assessment, oxygen delivery equipment, CPR, basic emergency care of medical conditions, and airway management.
