CJUS2100 — Client Growth & Development

The purpose of this course is to give the student an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the motivations and behaviors of correctional clients. The course begins by reviewing general factors believed to be influential in human development and analyzes specific problems of prisoners. The course examines prevention theories as well as intervention and treatment strategies. Prerequisite(s): CJUS 1100
