Automotive Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. In-depth study of automotive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The course includes theory of operation, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems. Environmental safety issues are stressed including laws and regulations, CFC recovery and recycling, ozone depletion, and new, environmentally safe systems. Computerized automatic temperature controlled systems are also covered. Prerequisite(s): AUTO 1200
