3 credit hour(s) Familiarizes students with application of rescue techniques using hand and power tools, ropes, and other rescue equipment and provides a simulation experience covering a variety of pre-hospital emergencies. The simulation focuses on the paramedic student’s ability to integrate pathophysiological principles and physical examination findings to formulate a field impression and implement a treatment plan for patients with common complaints. Contact: 3 hours per week. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
