1 credit hour(s) Acquaints dental hygiene students with all the areas of specialization in dentistry; providing patients with individualized, optimal dental care. The course leader will provide an overview of some specialties. Dental specialists will provide students with an in-depth understanding of each specialty through visual presentation of patient cases followed by a question and answer period. Contact: 1 hour per week. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
