BCT2750 — Construction Management II

3 credit hour(s) The businessman’s responsibilities are introduced and practiced in a term-long project. Emphasis is placed on control of the contractor’s direct and indirect costs and the management of men, materials, machines and money. The student will become familiar with accounting methods used to control costs in the construction organization. The student will understand costs, percentage of completion and accrual methods of accounting and will complete entries to the general ledger and various subsidiary ledgers. Students will prepare financial reports for the organization and maintain costs records on a construction project. Contact: 3 hours.
