This course is a survey of the literature, fine arts, religion, philosophy, and music of western civilizations from its historical beginnings to the early Renaissance with a focus on the Western Canon. You are expected to have basic skills in grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling, as well as a concept of critical analysis and argumentative writing.
