Facilities such as hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation centers, health maintenance organizations, private and public outpatient clinics, and healthcare centers are analyzed and discussed. Additional topics include an overview of accreditation standards, licensure agencies, reimbursement systems, legal/ethical issues, healthcare computerization, documentation, quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
