Study and lab work will center on building, configuring, and troubleshooting and Ethernet TCP/IP LAN which includes hosts, hubs, routers, switches, and all necessary cabling, as well as the configuration of switches to create a Virtual LAN (VLAN), developing an IP address scheme for WANs and LANs, configuring networks to run RIP and IGRP, configuring standard and extended access lists on router interfaces, and configuring and monitoring Novell IPX routing.
