Topics include advanced monitoring and assessment of ventilator management, special procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tubes and thoracentesis; cardiopulmonary diagnostic tools including heliox/nitric oxide administration and titration, advanced pulmonary function studies and specialized mechanical ventilation to include high frequency, liquid lung and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
