CJK 0031 - First Aid for Criminal Justice Officers Add to Catalog Portfolio CJK 0031 - First Aid for Criminal Justice Officers , Clock Hours: 40 This course emphasizes the responsibilities of a criminal justice officer in providing basic first aid at the scene of a medical emergency until EMS can arrive. Further, specific training will include preparing for and responding to emergencies at which basic first aid training may be needed. Moreover, students will be made aware of trauma-related and medical-related issues, scene stabilization and safety, and legal guidelines.
