RTE 2762 - Cross-Sectional Anatomy RTE 2762 - Cross-Sectional Anatomy (1 Credit Hours) (A.S.) This course examines anatomical cross-sections of the human body using digital imaging from computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Course content focuses on structures of the brain, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis, with additional emphasis on appendicular girdles and osteology. Students label and analyze anatomical structures depicted in cross-sectional images and develop identification skills through guided review exercises. In addition to normal anatomy, each unit includes common diagnostic examinations and representative pathology View class scheduling information for this course.
