This course covers advanced levels of real estate topics that were introduced in PLA1610, with specific emphasis on real property transactions in Florida. Students will understand advanced concepts of real property and the law underlying real estate transfers. Students will explore the development of real estate communities; planning and zoning; constitutional issues; environmental regulation and sustainability; economic development; tax aspects of land ownership and transfer; mortgages and financing; commercial due diligence, purchase, sale, loans and closings.
