This course is the culmination of the preparatory stage for team participation in the high school mock trial competition, Sarasota, Florida. The course will focus on further preparing the students for the actual team competition. The faculty will use simulations to engage students in the various stages of a trial and to introduce students to the techniques used to conduct trials, including opening statements, direct examinations, cross examinations, closing arguments, and objections.
