PLA 2114 - Legal Research and Writing II PLA 2114 - Legal Research and Writing II (3 Credit Hours) (A.A.) This course meets the Gordon Rule requirements. This course is designed to perfect the research skills acquired in PLA 1104 and PLA 1730 , including citation form. Emphasis is placed on developing facility in state and federal research and the drafting of memoranda and briefs. Computer-assisted legal research techniques using WestlawNext are examined in depth to compliment the techniques learned in PLA 1104 and PLA 1730.
