PHT 1007C - Introduction to Physical Therapy and Patient Care PHT 1007C - Introduction to Physical Therapy and Patient Care (5 Credit Hours) (A.S.) Three hours class, six hours laboratory per week. S.), ENC 1101 , and PSY 2012 with a grade of “C” or better. This course introduces the student to the history and philosophy of physical therapy and the role of the physical therapist assistant. Beginning patient care procedures are discussed. Students will practice professional interpersonal communication and clinical documentation skills.
