OTH 1012C - Understanding Screening & Assessment in OT Practice OTH 1012C - Understanding Screening & Assessment in OT Practice (2 Credit Hours) (A.S.) One hour lecture, three hours laboratory per week. The student will learn the process of screening and evaluation while clearly defining the role of the OT/OTA. Choosing relevant assessments based on theoretical perspectives, models of practice, frames of reference, and current literature will be incorporated throughout the semester. The student will also learn the process of appraising scholarly articles to better understand evidence-based practice, allowing them to make informed decisions as future practitioners View class scheduling information for this course.
