JOU 1103 - Advanced Reporting and Editing JOU 1103 - Advanced Reporting and Editing (3 Credit Hours) (A.A.) Three hours per week. This course will focus on advanced reporting for the print media. Throughout the semester, students will employ sophisticated research methods, including public records searches, computer-assisted reporting and archival research. Additionally, students will develop and polish their reporting skills, while gaining a greater understanding of how news is constructed in relation to institutions and people in public life.
