Add to My SC4 Catalog This course concentrates on the S.M.A.W. (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) (stick) process. Students will focus on 6” pipe in the 2-G and 5-G positions. Open root with E6010 and E7018 fill and cover passes will be used. Upon successful completion of the course students will take an A.W.S. (American Welding Society) certification test on 6” diameter pipe. Prerequisite(s): ETW 210 4 credits plus 2 = 6 laboratory
