Add to My SC4 Catalog This course is an introduction to the astronomy of the starts, including the sun, celestial objects, stellar formation and death and cosmology (the study of the universe as whole). This course will include discussions of the development of the astronomy through the ages, recent discoveries, and experience with the types of mathematical principles employed and the astronomical observational skills essential for an understanding of the fundamental principles of astronomy and cosmology. The optional laboratory for this course is AST 116 . Prerequisite(s): None 3 credits = 3 lecture
