ETI 2411 - Introduction to Manufacturing ETI 2411 - Introduction to Manufacturing This course will provide an introduction to the processes and materials used in today’s manufacturing environments including the medical diagnostic, biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors. Students will gain an appreciation for working in a regulated environment. Topics will include basic principles of industry, major departmental functions, regulatory agencies, current good manufacturing and laboratory practices, safety, engineering controls, aseptic and sterile processing techniques, inventory management, and documentation.
