ETI 2160C - Metrology ETI 2160C - Metrology This course will cover the principles, techniques, and devices of metrology with applications to procedures used in biotechnology and nanotechnology manufacturing. Topics will include basic principles of metrology, role of metrology in national and international trade, assay validation, current good manufacturing and laboratory practices, statistical process control, calibration, traceability, quality control measurement techniques and applications, and documentation. The laboratory will detail typical biotechnology quality control procedures with the appropriate manufacturing documentation, focusing on calibration, maintenance, and quality measurements with various instruments.
